If you need Physical SIM cards​

Buy at the airport after deplaning:

  1. CelcomDigi High Speed
  2. Maxis/Hotlink

Disable 5G ASAP​

In Malaysia, while the telcos mostly operate their own physical infrastructure for 2G 3G 4G LTE, none of them own their own 5G network. There is only 1 real 5G operator -- DNB, and all the telcos lease the 5G coverage from DNB alone.

As such, 5G network is usually overcrowded. If you are on a better telco like Maxis/Hotlink and CelcomDigi, disable 5G in your phone and just stick to 4G most of the time.
